What exactly is an ‘A’ School, and what can you expect if you attend? “An ‘A’ School is a doorway leading each of us into a fuller realization of Christian life enveloped in the Love of God our Father.”
It is a one-week gathering to help us experience the transformative reality of God’s love. John 14:6 reveals that Jesus is the way -“no one comes to the Father but through me.” It is a time when we discover that God the Father is our place to come home to, a place to belong, a place of unreserved acceptance and deep rest. It is an opportunity to let go of past hurts and misunderstandings and embrace a new reality in which we are beloved children of a loving Father.
Through revelatory insight, sound biblical teaching and personal ministry, you are given the strongest possible foundation to realize the depth and breadth of God's love fully. This love becomes so real to us that we live in its reality daily for the rest of our lives.
Typically an A’ School is done over a week, but this one is a bit different! This ‘A’ School is designed to help those who may be restricted by time constraints.
This School will happen over two weekends! It begins on a Thursday evening, continues through Friday and Saturday (May 25-27) and is completed the following Friday and Saturday (June 2-3). We hope this will make it easier for you to join, where participants only require two ‘work’ days off to attend.
This format allows you to have Sundays off, but feel free to join the UChurch Sunday Gathering with Leonard and Lesley on May 28th.

Leonard and Lesley Hays will be leading this School and have been sharing the love of the Father for over 20 years, from retreats and conferences to seminars, churches and home groups all around the globe. They have two adult children, Nicholas and Christian, a grandson and a Labrador Retriever, Hunter.

The sessions will all be held at Broadcast Hill Community Center, 400 Village Gardens SW. There is free onsite parking available.
1st Weekend: Thursday, May 25th, Friday & Saturday, May 26-27th
2nd Weekend: Friday & Saturday, June 2nd-3rd
The School begins Thursday evening, May 25th, with registration and introductions running from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. The first session will begin at 7:00 pm. The ensuing sessions happen Friday & Saturday of each weekend. There are plenty of coffee breaks, including lunch and dinner breaks. (Exact times vary slightly, depending on the session, but the day usually begins with refreshments at 9:00 am, and the evening session ends at approximately 8:30 pm).
The tuition fee is $400. If you're only able to attend one weekend, the fee is $275.
Note that coffee, tea, fruit and snacks will be provided throughout the day, but you will be responsible for your own lunch and dinner. A lunch or dinner out will require a car (or a ride with a friend), but you can also bring a bag lunch.
This school is designed as a ’commuter’ School. Attendees are responsible for their accommodation and transportation. We will make available various accommodation options for those who live ‘out of town’ and wish to attend.
If you prefer a ‘retreat’ styled ‘A’ School that includes accommodation and food, the ‘A’ School in Steinbach, Manitoba, is also an option this summer.
