Taste & See - Cranbrook, BC with Richard & Nia Jones and Brant Reding

To be found by love is to find our true place of belonging. To be found by love is to enter into rest. We live in an increasingly busy, noisy, unpredictable, chaotic and often stressful world. Our physical homes are often our sanctuaries, places where we can escape from all the world's noise and confusion. Yet they can literally be here one day and gone the next. There is a much greater reality available to us, an all-defining and life-changing homecoming into the waiting arms of our heavenly Father. He is our true home, our true sanctuary.

Often, we try to find rest and peace of mind by organizing the world around us; our houses, our family, our friends, our work, our investments, our health, etc. We believe that if all of these are under control, then we can rest, and then we are home. But there is a completely different reality available to us, a place of rest where we can abide regardless of our external circumstances. Just like Jesus sleeping in the back of the boat amid a storm, we can be in perfect rest when everyone else is panicking! Jesus lives eternally at home in the place of greatest intimacy with our Father, he rests secure in our Father’s embrace. Our heavenly Father is our origin, and finding security and rest in his arms is our true destiny.

We have forgotten how loved we are, and we have forgotten the way home. It’s time to be refreshed, comforted and restored. Join us as we enter together into his loving embrace, being found at home in rest and peace in the centre of His heart as beloved sons and daughters.
