Paul Fitzgerald is the CEO of Fatherheart Ministries. Paul has always had a heart to live in deep and meaningful relationships with others. This burden for community led him on a forty year journey in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors focusing on leadership development and building authentic community. But until 2008, there was always something missing.
In 1986 Paul left the US Air Force where he taught leadership and management to follow his heart to strategically and intentionally share the love of God in the public school system as a classroom teacher and administrator while serving as a missionary with Youth for Christ Ministries.
In 1996 Paul co-founded Tentmakers Missionary Fellowship from a heart to encourage, support, and equip Christian missionaries and ministries through synergistic marketplace and community alliances. These adventures were highlighted in the first edition of 'Great Commission Companies' by Dr. Steven Rundle of BIOLA University. Modeling business as mission, Paul generated funds (primarily from developing affordable housing) to pioneer a significant five-year outreach and community building model in China.
As the Vice President for International Faculty at major university in China, Paul recruited, selected, trained, and built community for one-hundred foreign faculty to teach English as a second language while simply sharing God's love in a commmunity-based environment. It was there, in China, that a life-time of driveness culminated in the tradgey of a broken marriage and burnout. In this valley, Paul met Jesus in a much deeper way and experienced what it meant to heal the brokenhearted. It was in this movement, Jesus brough him to Father who restored Paul's heart as a son. The missing piece was found. This movement from an orphaned heart to a heart of sonship also led many others in their community into the same deep personal healing and experience of meeting God as Father.
For Paul, this revelation and experience of Father's love has unified and coalesced a lifetime of experiences into a simple yet profound understanding of what it means to walk as a son in the home, in the marketplace, and in community. Paul, along with his wife Veronica, are on a new adventure bringing this revelation of healing, hearing God’s voice, and receiving Father’s love to the nations. Paul received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia; a Master of Public Administration in Governance (and completed the coursework for a Ph.D. in Public Administration) from Golden Gate University, San Francisco. Paul has six children from ages 3 to 32. He and Veronica currently call Panama home, where Veronica works with the United Nations.
Leonard & Leslie Hays
Leonard and Leslie Hays have given their lives to the Gospel. They lived for 11 years in Latin America serving the poor and oppressed, training youth leaders, church planting and giving leadership to the house of prayer in Cuernavaca, Mexico. They have raised their three children on the mission field, where they lived out an incarnational Gospel before being called into leadership in Kansas City with International House of Prayer.
At Kansas City Leonard and Leslie were involved as full-time staff for four years pioneering and directing several departments within IHOP including the Translation Department, Hispanic Ministry department, Prophetic Ministry Leadership and developing the Missions school. They have traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and other nations developing a diverse array of ministry works related to the portfolio they served.
In April 2011, they packed up their household and moved to Vermont with 25 young people (primarily from IHOP) to live in community, that oversaw a farm operation, a restaurant while also coming alongside the house of prayer in Burlington, England. The hope was to see the seedbed of revival again release the love of God into the earth. This was a monumental effort, with much resistance and great victories. After 4 years in Vermont Leonard and Lesley returned to Kansas City where they currently reside in large part due to a complicated illness of their daughter.
Leonard and Lesley’s DNA is defined by the integration of three themes; authentic community, authentic mission and the growing context of the Fathers Love interwoven within these themes. They are passionate to see the sons and daughters of God walk in the fullness of freedom that comes as individuals, families, Churches, businesses, cities and nations experience the love of the Father.
After 20 years of ministry, Leonard and Leslie have come to understand the reality of true peace comes as they live in the heart of the God as Father regardless of what the worlds challenges are in our lives.
Leonard and Leslie are currently full-time with Fatherheart Ministries (fatherheart.net) where they travel and speak as itinerant ministers and 'A' school leaders, sharing the Love of the Father wherever He may take them, whether it be domestically or to the ends of the earth!

Richard & Nia Jones
Richard and Nia delight to see the love of Father being unveiled across the nations — His love has transformed them personally, and subsequently their marriage and their relationships with their two daughters; Hannah (22) and Stephanie (19). Presently they are based between Penang, Malaysia and Taupo, New Zealand, travelling extensively each year through Asia and beyond as a part of the Fatherheart Ministries family.
Prior to joining Fatherheart Ministries, Richard and Nia served on the mission field for two decades, spending their first 10 years focused on a large unreached people group on one of Indonesia’s 1000’s of islands. Subsequently they relocated to the United Kingdom for Richard to undertake further theological studies and to serve in various churches. During this season, whilst attending a prayer meeting, Richard was deeply convicted of his own inability to receive and experience God as his personal Father. This milestone event ignited Richard and Nia’s pursuit of His Fathering reality, only to discover that He’d been drawing them with His cords of loving kindness since the day of their conception.
Realizing that many others in the body of Christ around the world were hungry for more reality and substance in their relationship with God, Richard and Nia’s personal journey transitioned into leading others home to Father. Knowing God as Father is our true destiny, and Richard and Nia delight to share Him with both the body of Christ and the lost around the world.
